Meet the team
Dialstone brings together a diverse and experienced team with deep expertise across private markets spanning infrastructure, venture and growth capital, real estate, private equity and private credit. The team integrates strong capabilities in investment origination, review and execution, legal and compliance, operations, ESG and capital development.
Chief Executive Officer
Simon Hayden
Simon Hayden has over 20 years of investment experience in European private markets. Before founding Dialstone Capital, he was a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone and prior to that, a Managing Director at EIG. In these roles, he held ESG and Investment Committee positions and led equity and credit investments in infrastructure and clean energy across the renewables, energy, transport, utility and digital sectors. Simon has an M.Phil. in Economics from the University of Cambridge and an M.A. in Geography from the University of Oxford.

Dmitry Yashnikov
Dmitry Yashnikov has over 16 years of investment experience in infrastructure, energy transition and growth equity across UK, EU and North America. Before joining Dialstone he was a Managing Director & Head of GreenTech at OMERS and prior to that a member of the OMERS Infrastructure team in London. He is a former board member of Associated British Ports, London City and Belfast International airports and Redwood Materials. Dmitry serves as the Chair of the Board of YHU Terminal at the Montreal Metropolitan Airport. Dmitry holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the London School of Economics.

Chris Cawthorne
Chris Cawthorne is a senior lawyer with over 20 years of experience across infrastructure, private equity and real estate. Prior to joining Dialstone Capital, Chris was a Senior Director in Legal Affairs at PSP Investments and Group Legal Counsel at Jardine Matheson. The first decade of his career was spent in private practice at DLA Piper and Allen & Overy in London and Hong Kong. Chris holds a BA (Hons) in Law with German from the University of Sheffield and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales (2004) and Hong Kong (2010).
Head of Compliance and Operations
Tatiana Levin
Tatiana Levin has over 15 years of experience in compliance and operations in financial services. Before joining Dialstone, she was the UK Chief Compliance Officer and Operations Manager at EIG Europe, where she led the firm’s UK operations and regulatory and governance oversight. In this capacity, she was FCA-approved as Compliance Officer and MLRO. During her tenure, she developed robust compliance frameworks and built scalable operational systems that supported the firm’s growth and regulatory resilience. She holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations from the University of Sussex.
